We’re adapting our programme to help you close gaps

Mathematics Mastery, a programme from Ark Curriculum Plus, has been shown by the Education Endowment Foundation to give students an additional month of progress in maths. It is used by 150 secondary schools across the UK to strengthen maths teaching.

When classroom teaching resumes in earnest,  teachers will need  laser-sharp  focus to successfully deliver the most useful knowledge and skills to close gaps and help every student succeed.

Now, we’re adapting our programme to help you close gaps! Providing you with regular guidance and support. We will be able to help you identify and address the gaps created by these turbulent times.

From September, we will introduce each unit of Mathematics Mastery at fortnightly Staging Posts via our new online platform, MyMastery.

At Staging Posts, you can access online the resources, including planning tools and topic-specific PD, to ensure you are ready to teach the next two weeks’ worth of lessons. Within this, we make sure you have the pedagogic and subject knowledge to keep children on track and have the skills needed to adapt your teaching with confidence when they are not.

Our Mastery Approach

Our coherent, well-sequenced curricula are the result of thousands of hours of design work by subject experts for teachers to rely on.

Find out what Ruth Patrick, Year 7 maths coordinator at Cramlington Learning Village, has to say about how our programme met their desire for a reliable curriculum and the embedding more consistent teaching, as well as the impact we’ve had on her students’ resilience here.
