Learn about the programme

The Mathematics Mastery programme is an investment from both sides and it’s important you make the right decision for your school. We encourage you to learn about our approach and discuss with colleagues before you proceed.

To support your decision, please find below downloadable information packs for both our Primary and Secondary programmes.

Not sure if you are eligible?

The programme is suitable for:

  • Primary and secondary schools in England and Northern Ireland, of varying size, intake or academic performance
  • Junior schools can join if due consideration is given – please contact us directly to discuss further
  • All-through schools (two applications are required as the primary and secondary programmes are separate)
  • Independent schools

The programme is unsuitable for:

  • Schools that do not follow the English National Curriculum

In any of the following instances, please book a call with or email us to discuss:

  • Mixed age classes
  • Middle schools
  • Upper schools
  • Schools with extremely small intakes
  • Schools with high intake of special educational needs

2.
The online application process

The application process can be completed in two ways:

One step

1) Headteacher completes and submits the entire form

Two step

1) A relevant teacher completes the initial form
2) Headteacher is notified to finalise the submission

Applications are open throughout the year. Early application is encouraged to guarantee your place on your preferred training dates.

3.
Applications are assessed and accepted

Your application is reviewed by our team and we will contact you within five working days. We may have follow up questions or require further information. Once accepted, your headteacher is required to confirm the contractual programme agreement.

4.
Induction to the programme

If you are accepted onto the Mathematics Mastery programme, you will receive details on next steps. This includes:

  • Login details to the Toolkit, our online programme hub
  • Instructions on how to give teachers Toolkit access
  • Dates, locations and details on how to book induction training sessions

Training dates will be made available to you once your application has been accepted.

5.
Launch the programme

After attending training, you will launch the programme in your school. You will be assigned a subject expert to support you to implement the curriculum.
