Data protection

We may gather details about those accessing and using the Mathematics Mastery website and toolkit, including the Gradebook.  By visiting our sites or by entering your personal details in our webforms you agree to us processing this information.  We take data protection seriously and take all reasonable steps to prevent the misuse or loss of any information we collect.

All data is stored securely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1998 and will only be retained for as long as necessary. We will not share any sensitive information with third parties. Any pupil data collected will be aggregated and anonymised and will only be used for the impact evaluation and improvement of the programme. Any insights from the resulting analysis that is shared externally will also be in an aggregated format.

Use of cookies

This website uses cookies to better the users experience and to provide essential functionality.

Cookies are small files saved to the user’s computers hard drive that track, save and store information about the user’s interactions and usage of the website. This allows the website, through its server to provide the users with a tailored experience within this website.

To access Mathematics Mastery programme teaching and training resources your school must be a registered member.  For more information on registering your interest in becoming a member please click here.

All users specifically assigned a toolkit account under their school’s membership will be provided with login details to access teaching and training materials relating to their membership.  In order to meet our security requirements we ask that these details are kept confidential.  If you think you have forgotten these or that login details have been misused please contact your school administrator or contact us.  Mathematics Mastery will not be held accountable for any security breaches caused by this kind of activity, or if for any reason the sites are down for any time.

We will track user activity and reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access in the event of unusual usage patterns, or if we feel you have not abided by these terms or the terms agreed to in your Mathematics Mastery Moving to Mastery school contract.

All materials found on the Mathematics Mastery toolkit:

  • are to be used only for teaching purposes by those who are specifically assigned user accounts via their school’s membership to the Mathematics Mastery programme
  • are not to be reproduced for the purposes of selling to any third party
  • are not to be shared with any other institution or third party who does not have the appropriate membership

Furthermore, it is prohibited for any part of Mathematics Mastery website to be copied, sold, duplicated or reproduced.
